About Homegrown

I am Zack Hanson, Homegrown Native Landscapes' owner and sole employee. I started this business because three years into a "summer job" I picked up back when I was substitute teaching, I've realized that I would be deprived/depraved if I stopped working outside, in the dirt, with my hands every day. My entire life has been a story of being in nature or being out of my mind. I am simply at my best when I am outside, in shape, and working hard for someone or something underserved. Working to conserve and restore our native landscapes checks all the boxes, and so, naturally, I made it my business. From establishment and onward, I am committed to helping preserve and restore the environment from the dire straits it is in, to advocating for good earth stewardship whenever I can, and to contributing to the community that carries the flame of conservation into the future.
